on further reflection that i used to be all, "moby has a couple good tracks, sure" and i'm old enough to have read his blog when he was launching teeny or whatever and he's writing about things like the time he had a one night stand with a fan and he still feels terrible about it and i was not yet old enough to get laid, but i do remember thing: what a weird sad asshole but that didn't change my summary from, "moby has a couple good tracks, sure" -- as in; why get into any of that? but then there's this interview and he has massive stacks floor to ceiling of beautiful drum machines and he says "oh no i don't turn them on i just sample them and put them on a shelf" and then my summary of moby morphed into my previous post. |

At the end of the year he wished to make amends and live a healthier lifestyle and promised a girlfriend that he would quit alcohol for one month; he lasted two weeks.[3][168] Moby continued to drink to excess and would ask audiences at concerts to give him drugs. i guess i'd recommend moby take some lessons from the lcd soundsystem guy: like, still be an utter git, but write somewhat decent music and just wear an undershirt everywhere instead of being a vegan egomaniac |
