I guess for comfort and nonchalance they’re great.
You’re forgiven, my son.

Lately I’ve been mostly wearing retro Japanese running
shoes. My collection is mostly Nike though.

Been into trainers since the eighties. It’s a true
passion. It’s true that hipsters probably try to adopt my
style but generally they look silly. My influences came from
basketball, graffiti and hip hop really, and it’s never
left me.

retro japanese running shoes don't sound basketball,
graffiti or hip hop dude. it sounds hipster

Gosh you’re a cunt.

I like sneakers in gen, and not necessarily the hip stuff.
I’ve been into them for like 35 years. It started with
basketball, admiring the shoes worn in the NBA. As I was
into hip hop and did graf, there was also a sneaker culture.
I guess I’m not allowed to be passionate about sneakers
because it automatically makes me a hipster or fashion
victim? Truth is I wear all sorts and don’t give a shit
about fashion. I like the design, the architecture so to
speak, the technology and also history.

> Exactly what I thought you’d wear. Spesh the first

i've posted the both multiple times. a relief it's finally
sunk in. clearly you missed the whole arc where i am in love
with the combat boots and i'm all "no nahh" for months and
then winter and finally it is justified

but oh, help, send me money, things are nuts right now. but
at least i have those boots and i love them to death. i was
just happy making myself happy but others have commented.
sometimes my tastes translate

i guess, also... i have done this before: NIKE(s) DO NOT
FUCKING FIT ME my feet are too wide. that i pay fucking
extra for this merrell shit to get the "wide" version of my
size. that... yeah, i could say my footwear can expect 100
miles a month, unless weather is completely poo. so i burn
through them fast enough that it was like... oh, let's try
this one that time. and 11.5 wide. these fucking merrell
combat boots. that is my happy place

that i bet Roger Wilco has Little Feet. i just picture him
having tiny shoes and it makes me giggle. i don't put any
faith in the dick correlation to shoe size. my feet could
possibly interest quentin tarantino but my dick more like
"i've no right to go around bragging but i've no complaints
with what the good lord gave me, either." i just think he
has little feet. and it makes me giggle

New Balance cater to wide feet. Good customer service and a
30 day return policy.

Architecture yeah I’m pushing it a bit. Many of my fave
sneaker designers are or where architects. The shoe is 3D. I
see a lot of lines… you get me.

Mermaidman, you know I love you.

I didn’t realise “dad shoes” were all that hip but I
wouldn’t be surprised. Label me as you like, son!

used to only wear basketball boots/sneakers, but mixed into
more sneaker-like shoes or running shoes. loved
this one. (the zebra paint roller ones) yeah theyre
very hip. kind of went from hippie to hipster look, ni a way
that hippie became a little more fresh than grunge. still
wear 10-20 year old pants tho, cause i dont find any fitting
ones anymore. stupid modern cuts. well, now that the sole
has hardened and became unwalkable i turned them into
rollerskates. cant wait for summer!
