in 2014, i feel like there's a track name in this somewhere. that something's gone horribly wrong with zumba; that it's like... zumba accident? too plain. zumba wound? no, that's alright, but it needs to be more serious. zumba casualty? too abstract. zumba infarction? too silly. that this has been bothering me since 2014. not, like, constantly... i just find myself thinking about it sometimes. zumba laceration, right, that's a new one. but it makes no sense. and it's not terribly great. that i genuinely suspect it's some technical medical term i read once 15 years ago and all i've left of it is like... a hash representation of the genuine object; stored parameters that indicate something here fits, but... word not found. one day |

yes. it was blowing up in 2014. that huge black guy was huge. i think he blew up in some huge scandal but may be mis-overremembering that i know, exactly. it's like pilates; it's that sort of white mom shit. but it's gone horribly wrong. there's a... zumba tragedy? zumba mishap? zumba incident? zumba wound sounds nice but it's solving a separate problem |

"zumba accident" is like "this is the vector i want but i need the right word" and reiterating -- after this long, that i haven't found it, it's got to be some really specific medical term i read once or twice years ago. because i have a good number of words on tap and none, so far, have cut it. open to suggestions |

my feeling -- because, i dunno, it is a feeling? kind of like a leash tugging me? or, more technically, probably a tensor my feeling is that it needs to be something like "cytokine storm" combing with "zumba" -- stupid and absurd and irrelevant and deadly serious, and darn it; zumba strikes again but no. i need one punchy word after zumba, and "cytokine storm" is busy off being a Darude song. it's not the thing i want but it's an example of the sort of thing i want. and the way it always winds up -- it's like a very drawn out grandma moment. once i hear it, i'll be like "...oh, yes, that's it, it was on the tip of my tongue, thanks" i have an idea how i got like this about words, but it would require too many to explain |
