The company missed payments to and then renegotiated its contract with Carrot, a benefits provider for fertility services including egg and sperm freezing and in vitro fertilization, according to two people close to the company. On Thursday, Carrot notified Twitter employees that the fertility benefit amount would be halved in the new year. A representative for Carrot did not respond to requests for comment.
that is the stupidest corporate benefit/perk i have ever heard and, well, a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day; good riddance. most sane people would have kept the sacremento data center tho

the damage Musk is doing by killing Twitter is huge. i can only hope it turns people more socialist. imo it's not unreasonable to now nationalize (rather: internationalize) twitter. i mean because he's blocking journalists and promoting hate speech which does actual harm, but yes, also for the employees.
