i'd almost say i'd trade you the ambient disco cover for that ~ but shipping either would be a nitemare. it's still not even framed. it's sitting in my living room, just a poster board did you hang it with lights and take a picture? that's what i did; it turned out like poop. didn't do it justice. that i used metallic shiny on the hand, etc... i tried but i couldn't find any place that could scan something that large tissue, like tissue paper? 3D? yeah, scanning sounds noep i have better cameras now. i should try to get a better image of it (sorry, tangent) |

just managed to get a fairly unblurry shot taking em from above i think, i've still had to crop stuff at the sides. twas the first painting i'd done since the psychosis took hold, there was another but i don't think i have a picture of it |

I actually did listen on headphones this morning, was just feeling in a podcast mood while driving. But yeah, I can see why that was the recommended output, there's so much texture and movement that would be lost. I really like this, both the field recording ambient sound collages and the bits where it comes together and gets my head bobbin. Some real slapper moments when the drums finally jerk themselves into a groove and you add one bass note..... then another.... then it locks in and grooves. I'm down. Very professional sounding, must have taken ages and ages to make. It's super cool that you used your own field recordings too. Listening to it again now while playing team fortress 2 (halloween event baby) but this time on shitty computer speakers, and still enjoying it. Alright back to tf2, more bangers please |

not sure what setup funkstorung use, but i hear ya. it's easy to make repeating glitchy stuff in wavelab but getting it to sound good / funky is harder than you'd think, it's still a battle for me. glad ppl are enjoying tho! |

I have it on my phone in mp3s and it's a good reminder to listen again since I have some energy (fueled in part by eggs) The ideal situation is to "trade listens" with someone else making spam, but xlt is so slow that that's become impossible-- and anyone paying attention can see that you've already checked and commented on most spam. Now you've got all this unspent political capital and some music that needs some ears. What is the recourse, honestly? Is it https://forum.watmm.com/forum/17-your-latest-creations/ ? seems more active than this place, by far. What we really need is some kinda platform where "you listen to mine, I'll listen to yours" is the foremost idea. Anyway like I said, you've already listened to everyone else's here and this is really quite good, so it's a pickle. |
