i guess im not the only one, but yeah, my biggest problem
maker and motivator has always been money and the lack
thereof

i must have ben traumatised as a kid in some way, cause its
quite uncomfortable for me to spend money

it got a bit better with the years, i spent some money on
stuff that i wanted and i started liking it. i had to learn
to feel good about it. to enjoy receiving something and not
mostly ocd-ing about the problems it might bring

loosing money still gives me a cold sweat, every time when i
think it happens

but then i look at others being in a similar situation and
not having a problem with it at all

and i realise there doesn't even need to be a physical
barrier between people from different backgrounds. its
already ingrained inside your brain

you are automatically less flexible than others, which is a
big disadvantage

a lot of high rollers have been getting knee deep in
trillions of dollars of zero interest loans and when the
interest climbs and they default and shit crashes like a
thousand 2008s the media will blame umbro and his little 4
grand, or some guy who bought a used car

nah, it got triggered because im moving right now and it
seems like i need to pay two apartments next month, because
things don't seem to work out the way i wanted them to

its not a lot of money, but it bothers me to the point that
it keeps me from doing my work

paying multiple rents is a bitch,
but theres no use in letting it get to you.
on the upside you dont have to move everything in one go
and can take your time to set up things properly.
are you moving within the same city?
maybe consider having an abrissparty.-)

hey, thanks for the positive thoughts. appreciate it ^^

i think i will move in one go, since its 100km between the
places, but i was also thinking about having a party, hehe

i remember writing in here 10 years ago, when someone stole
a 5000 euro camera from me

mohamed answered that he didnt give a fuck. and why should
he, haha!

fuck i need to find something that makes a shitload of
money

i have a little buffer on my account, but that's all i have.
my boomer parents are much less educated and could always
find a job and made enough money to buy a house

haha marco, great way to pick someone up ^^

yeah our parents generation really had things going,
but i like living in our day and age.

ever thought about scamming? seems to go real well these
days. just lost 173€ on a switch that never came. numbers
on cases like that just explode. be sure to sell something
only a true asshole would buy, so you dont fuck over a nice
person ^^ oh well id still have a bad conscience or fear of
getting caught.

ah, shit! did you buy it on eBay Kleinanzeigen?
I sold some old game boy an snes games on there that I found
in my parents attic. it was really frustrating

I think its ok for niche stuff, like synths or other weird
shit

but I had bad experiences with smartphones and games on
there, cause its a magnet for scammers

eBay Kleinanzeigen ist not really eBay, its just the name.
it got bought by another company. I think there is a new way
to pay now that gives you some security, but mostly people
just kinda trust each other. I usually use my PayPal
protection when its over 100 bucks

its more like private ads
and usually you get around paying any fees for ads or paypal
transactions, sadly though with the uncertainty involved. we
love exchanging goods on there and its the first time we
fell for a scam. should have seen the signs though, i was
really tired and stupid to buy a switch like that on there.

but yeah its great for niche stuff and furniture or
generally stuff you would rather pick up than mail.
got half of our flats stuff from there, dirt cheap and with
so much style as opposed to soulless ikea block builds.
saving ressources on every account.

my grandma went through the great depression and
legitimately had, i would say, PTSD when it came to money.
practically pathological.

but, you are german. it could be something else. like...

renting a room from this guy, then i'm off somewhere else,
then i'm back, gradually we actually become friends, even
though i am [at the time] just some fuckup renting a room.
and he's into bondage, super dom [...would i like to try?
... "uhh no" .. ok] and he's explaining to me how it pretty
much is his sex, and alright, i can kind of get this. and
then he gets into how he has this chat channel with all his
pets, ha, ok, but then... "this one guy is into financial
domination, he wanted to send me all his money and only mete
it out to him if he was good" and then "but i was like, no,
ok, that's way too much, you can't do that, you can send me
a few hundred if you want to roleplay like that but christ
you cannot send me your life savings."

and this does strike as something a german is capable of

i've never outspent my means but i'm rather impulsive and
long-term planning can be noep. i've tried many approaches;
many - 1 have failed. the only one still standing is:
maintain financial discipline as a matter of routine, but
accept that i have a certain requirement for impulsive
ridiculousness and i have to do something with it

90% of the time, i will be an irritating, miserly bastard
that buys bruised bananas on sale. the other 10% of the
time, i will impulsively blow $600 on dye-sub hoodies and
techwear pants and, like, the watch we got when we were five
-- long since lost! -- but they still make it, and in wacky
colors and... omg... ordering

...and now that we have it, zero regrets. zer. 0. it's the
same proportion on our wrist as when we were five, and we
were smaller, so the watch... grew up with us? and yeah it
makes sense, just us up here, buying these [people who
remember them from the 90s] and we have bigger wrists and we
are quite interested in a variety of loud neon prints and..
shit, i should stop now

whew, that was nice. back to bruised bananas on sale for a
few weeks or months

more money means more vinyl and gear

but in the end I cannot complain, I'm very happy
