holy shit. selling gear can be kind of like putting a pet down if it's because $$ issues, and selling the prophet vs was by far my favorite pet. so, honestly, that's about all i need to read.
but, meanwhile, i've learned that, if you are very deliberate, you can more or less get the exact same shit out of the wavestation. it is the VS 2.0, right? but it's so full on to program everyone just uses the presets and talks about how nice the pads are
