Yeah likewise, more like I don't want to spend months in
hospital with a tube rammed down my throat then die

I mean maybe Big Pharma are going to produce jabs every year
for the rest of my life but I assume there are enough people
with good will/conscious in the medical/research industry
that this a legitimate thing, either that or listen to the
likes of Right Said Fred/Bogdanoff Twins

I think some experts are saying though that COVID is a lab
experiment that escaped from Wuhan I reckon Occam's razor
says its most likely, a City that has a massive Virology lab
where they study Coronavirus being the source, well that
seems really likely to me

i dont get the need for covid passes though
jabs, yes, id card, no
all i see on twitter and facebook is
pro jab, pro id card
or
anti jab, anti id card
i believe the virus is real but i dont like to see the
government taking more and more power over our daily lives

ive seen conspiracy stories about a lot of heart attacks in
football games and stuff, they reckon it's the jab. i dont
fucking know.

Maybe I'm being dead naïve and its some sort of shadowy
effort to thin the heard/control the populous but scientists
have been saying for decades this was going to happen we
were overdue for ages, Its lucky its not a worse one

yeah my gfs cousin got blood clots on his lungs, there is no
doubt the vaccine will have an adverse effect in some people
and might have long term effects in others, but what we know
for sure is Covid will fuck you up for certain so its a bit
of a logical wager to just get the vaccination i reckon. I
think alot of the hesitancy is about the misinfo about the
technology involved in the new vaccines, which doesn't
rewrite your DNA it just provides your cells the programming
to produce the necessary antibodies, well as far as I can
tell

What really made me get the jab was that my brother has a
work college who had 3 family members die of COVID early on
in the pandemic,

David Icke and his son make shit loads of money from this
conspiracy circus. I know he was right about Saville but
even a stopped clock is right twice a day, he had less
credibility than a used tea bag when he said he was jesus on
Wogan

Yeah its extraordinary how different people envisage the
world reality isnt it. Suppose it would be boring if we all
thought the same!

offline umbroman3 from United Kingdom on 2022-01-04 17:24 [#02615395]

trying to dwell on an objective reality, like a
hyperobjectivity is too difficult for one person alone to
handle.

i see icke didnt do well in school, just like me, he
probably spent his whole adult life trying to catch up like
me, trying to work out what reality is. he's not really
qualified to be a spritual leader of any kind, so it's a
shame that he has so many followers

degree of self delusion, he is essentially a cult leader

offline kei9 from Argentina on 2022-01-04 17:40 [#02615401]
Points: 425 Status: Lurker

anyone who tells people what to think is self delusional i
think, or a fraud.

the whole "forcing people to vaccinate" thing is ridiculous
and wrong. I personally think is moronic not to take the
jab, but I wouldnt like it enforced on anyone. freedom is
too limited already

offline Hyperflake from Wirral (United Kingdom) on 2022-01-04 18:06 [#02615402]
Points: 31006 Status: Lurker | Followup to kei9: #02615401

yeah 100% i think it sets a bad precedent, cos yeah say I
agree with being forced to be vaccinated, I might be forced
to do something I don't want in the future, You shouldn't be
able to force people to do something against their own will,
its too authoritarian and oversteps the reach of what a
government should be able to do

offline Hyperflake from Wirral (United Kingdom) on 2022-01-04 18:11 [#02615403]
Points: 31006 Status: Lurker

Having said that if this disease had a really fucking high
death rate im not sure mandatory vaccinations would be
unavoidable, i dunno depends on how much import you put on
personal freedoms, versus other people snuffing it, its a
tricky balance

offline umbroman3 from United Kingdom on 2022-01-04 18:16 [#02615404]
Points: 6123 Status: Lurker

>its a tricky balance

yeah medical doctors tend to be quite bossy by nature. i
wouldnt like to be governed by a whole government made up of
NHS workers. they would ban everything nice and make stupid
laws banning computer games.

offline Hyperflake from Wirral (United Kingdom) on 2022-01-04 18:23 [#02615405]
Points: 31006 Status: Lurker | Followup to umbroman3: #02615404

yeah I must admit I avoid doctors and hospitals at all
costs,

Talking hypothetically if there was a diseases that killed
everyone who was unvaccinated would it be worse to let them
die of their own choice and infect immune compromised
people? or force them to take a vaccine they wanted. You
could say its people who are ill with cancer and
immo-compromised don't have a choice either

I'm playing devils advocate by the way, I dunno what the
answer is, although im totally against ID cards and
infringing privacy and your own bodily choices in general

offline Hyperflake from Wirral (United Kingdom) on 2022-01-04 18:24 [#02615406]

yeah imagine what will happen in america if the democrats
force everyone to get the vaccine. gun nutters all over the
place + anti vax conspiracies = civil war.

particular it would be impossible to implement

now add the factor economy into the mix and you will find
yourself in the awkward position politicians are in now. the
economy that is at stake depending on what measures you
take. the amount of personal fates involved losing it all
due to the pandemic with the measures to save the most
people already set fire on a huge mass of very troubled
people. i really fear what madness people might get into.

yeah its sort of police state vs unnecessary deaths, what
worries me is if you introduce vaccine passports in this day
and age they will morph into some sort of ID/social credit
system, cos when governments get more power over the
populace they never give it back

we´d need to burn the cards once the pandemic allows it.
^^
chances still are the virus will be endemic but mostly
harmless.
now i´ve learned about the social credit system in china,
but people all over the world are way too sane, spoiled or
stubborn to take that shit.

i think the next step is chaos.
chaotic fighting all over the world.
small wars, big wars. starvation. disease.
it could last a long time.
to me the virus is the beginning of that for us.
lots of places in the world have been going through this
already.

i wonder how long we could run on reserves given a total
trade breakdown. most of the food we have in personal long
storage isnt suitable for a real meal and could be consumed
within two or three weeks. could be tooth and nail pretty
fast.
