im too thick to enjoy time team gotta show respect to them though for being so keen on history. i remember going on a school trip to caerleon where they had roman fort or whatever and being disappointed that it was just the remains. it is really interesting that the roman empire conquered us thousands of years ago. i wish i went to an english language school, my welsh language abilities were always shit, we didnt know what the teacher's were talking about half the time except shouting at us to speak welsh. |

You can have a good guess what era they have found in time team before they open their mouths based on hour course/grainy the pottery is and what colour it is before the romans its really rough and got loads of bits of gravel in it then roman period they come in and its a like a fine art and smooth and beautifully decorated, after they leave for the next thousand years or so it goes back to being rough round the edges |

i did see some lush things in the museum in lanzhou, a city in western china, like a giant t rex skeleton, and old pottery from the area from like 8000 years ago or something. lost all my photos from that time :/ |
