I'm just curious, given your proclivity for making a hundred
new threads rambling on about nothing in particular, have
you ever been diagnosed with a mental disorder?

The last shows I enjoyed were Dark and Chernobyl. My woman's
a weeb so we have an anime backlog too. It's all foreign
though, jack shit of value is being made in the US right
now. Woke or made for generic "mass appeal" or both, it's
all dogshit.

Plan on watching this "Midnight Mass" after checking out the
Redlettermedia review though, well see.

And for documentaries, I *greatly* enjoyed "Leah Remini and
the Aftermath of Scientology". Having already watched a
couple scientology documentaries, I skipped this because I
felt like I already knew what there was to know about the
cult. Ignorant. This is the *definitive* skewering of
scientology, It's beautifully done and a full redemption arc
for Mr. Mike Rinder who was the clear villain of one of the
docs I watched in like 2006. Leah and Mike could be called
legit heroes at this point.

Been enjoying What we do in the shadows. And as an acquired
taste I’ve got a soft spot for Stath let’s flats. Been
watching Fringe again and having a great time.

Lower Decks, 2nd season

i recommend Super Store for relaxing viewing, that's
actually really well made

and i watch Succession. it's still great, but this third
season might be plagued by covid, during production.

I'm watching the original Cowboy Bebops, which I've
shamefully never seen all of.

ADHD

i've read "i had undiagnosed ADHD and here's what it was
like" articles before, but this one i've recently
found is positively uncanny.

it's rare we go more than a few months around here without
someone asking What The Heck Is Wrong With You EpicMegatrax.
i'm running out of different ways to answer this question,
so i might just link that article, like, here, this will
give you the flavor, now get out of my office.

> is this saying sex and the city is sexist towards

oh, nah. it just came out of the machine in my brain that
interrupts me with useless puns all day. in creating a
thread, my intent was that we'd stochastically generate a
treatment for the pilot episode of Sexism City via everyone
just piping in with suggested tidbits

but seems people are using it to discuss what shows they
like, and that may be a better plan. up to y'alls

I was recently forced to watch the first episode of 'Halt
and Catch Fire' (origin story of first clone of IBM PC).
They dump a ROM with a pen¬ebook and a breadboard with
some LEDs which display 16 bits at a time, poetic license to
dramatise the scale of the task. Managed to keep my mouth
shut somehow.

AH and I've been forced to watch Sex and the City too - but
I secretly like that. Samantha is my favourite, the others
are annoying.
