after a think, i do believe i have it: someone will sneeze
kind of hard, they'll lock down all the athletes; beat a few
more welsh corgis to death with a crowbar (google it [or,
actually, don't]) because dogs can get covid too. then the
athletes will begin to complain because they're not used to
living with this shit and a few will disappear

that's worst case. best case, though, it's the most boring
winter olympics in years. no audience, athletes
uncomfortable, probably lots of interludes about how grand
china is, everyone switched to netflix anyways who watches
that crap

i half feel major nations have staunchly resisted a boycott
because they're quietly presuming it won't reflect well,
anywhere from being slightly boring to openly horrid. this
makes sense until you consider all the people who will
presumably have their entire biometric identity in a
database before they leave after a lot of horseshit

love the food, women, friends, travel, and all round
kindness of the chinese people.

hate the repressiveness, stupidity and corruption of a truly
communist government.

also it's dumb to say communism was never tried before. it
was tried in russia and china to horrifying effect.

the shitness of communism is violently overthrowing the
monarchy and replacing it with government by plebs in a
short space of time. it causes chaos for the people and
rulers alike and is SHIT.

also china is a dictatorship with no independent courts, no
due process, rampant corruption (you have to buy the police
an iphone to grease the wheels).... blah blah

still love china though despite all the problems. there's
good in china's heart. calligraphy, generosity,
friendliness, etc

then could the good in their heart please stop trying to
take over taiwan. for obvious physical strategic regions,
ok, but it's also for their semiconducter fabs. yes, china
builds a lot of shit. but the chip shortage, all that, china
doesn't have terribly much for fabs. it's in taiwan.
meanwhile, part of what's caused the chip shortage is
chinese companies hoarding components. their place in the
supply chain, they're well positioned to do so

their vision of the olympics is some sort of farty abstract
eastern spank dream that talks about good energy vs. red
energy and i'm just waiting to see how they react to someone
complaining this country has no mcdonalds bitch we're locked
in

like, perhaps they have deftly brainwashed their own
citizens, but i could pick any number of countries whose
stereotypical citizens would be... less amenable

The whole trip they complained about not being at a
McDonalds and repeatedly shouted for the motherfucker to
pull over so they could get some fucking McDonalds nigger.
Interspersed with the McDonalds requests were shouted boasts
about how often they masturbated and fucked bitches nigger
and got paid like a motherfucker fifty grand like a
motherfucker. They continued complaining that the trip was
taking too long and insisted they be fed immediately all the
way to the airport, where their minder presumably fed
them.
