And Trump didn't decide to show up along other former US
presidents
at the 9/11 celebrations. Oh well.

Ampi, discuss !

osama won. frothed the US up about terrorism and now that
froth has turned the US on itself. dubya has gotten a tad
better with age, i feel, but i haven't had the naivety to
actually allow myself to deliberately, consciously elect to
hear what he has to say at this juncture. it's for the best

I bet when 911 happened Michael Bay was jealous that he
never thought of it

almost as much as i want trent reznor to sing me to sleep
each night, i want michael bay to teach me to blow up cars.

i am at least somewhat for real, here. bad boys II set the
record for "number of cars blown up for a single movie
scene" at the time; over 200. and i can just see him telling
some stunt driver: we've having a little trouble getting the
right shot. when your car is being crushed by another car
landing on it, could you do it a bit to the left?

the idea that this is even a skill amuses the shit out of
me.

yeah what about a monster truck that is like 4 stories high
and is powered by a cluster of jet engines, and it totally
destroys a mall

Hmm makes me want to play carmageddon!!

Id watch that yeah, that would be great, or an oil tanker
with massive caterpillar tank tracks on, with like 30 naval
guns on, that would be radical

it's extravagant and absurd and possibly fueled by cocaine,
but i have to say: even given no limit on budget, i'm not
sure i could set this up.

but it's not necessarily michael bay, or just him. i read
one very depressing article about michael bay and his films,
in which michael bay never actually appears. they just
interview his minions and they all say "oh yes he's just
such a genius"

and i do get the impression he's one of those people living
off of the interest of his reputation; a million starved
underlings trying to get a solid career going saying he's
the shit and working 20-hour days to pass their ideas off as
his.

not a bad gig i suppose

the Rock was a pretty fun film, I don't think he is worthy
of the derision ive piled on him, Armageddon was terrible
film though. At least he has a sort of consistent aesthetic
i guess even if its not my preference. He certainly is
competent but he does seem to be a fucking pyromaniac lol

i think he is not so much a person so much as an amalgamate
of thousands of talented people riding the gravy train. but
that doesn't mean i don't take interest when he is
"directing" a film. it's a good sign generally

martin short and wild wild will; great combo. classic,
almost. but nick cage and sean connery playing hot and cold;
cosmic grand slam

LAZY_TITLE

i sampled the "this is a nice fish" part on LAZY_TITLE
track 3, pretty stoned acid music. i had the mpc 1000
autoslice it; nudged to taste. then i have the prophet vs
arp triggering the sampler. extend(ed) mode. just adds
notes. so i'm just kind of going keyboard cat on it but only
took two or three tries to get one i was absolutely
satisfied with. recorded this whole album in a day. take
that michael

There is a homoerotic undertone to that film, Will Smith
comes across as not hetrosexual

it's actually a pretty homophobic movie in that regard. it's
a deliberate joke. but this is the point where we can throw
PC under the bus, because this is funny
