...seems like a LOT of folks here in the MB are quick to
judge drug users, and i´m not even talking hard drugs you
know?...i´m talking grass!...how square!....Layne probably
had his own problems and used heroin to escape from them.
Anyway, people that ocasionally smoke a blunt or take
some lsd or whatever shouldn´t be put down without getting

to know them first. It´s like telling someone who likes
wine an alcoholic....i mean without even knowing the
person!!....freakin´squares!

drugs are bad for your mental health, sure you can handle
them now, but in a few years when you need a proper job to
support your wife and family, you wont be able to because
you spend all your time and money sourcing drugs to get high
off, steer clear my friend, and youll be OKAY

think of what you could buy if you didnt buy drugs, youd
save £100 each week

there are so many people that cant handle alcohol. you think
you have control now but when you get older its something
else. my dad has become an alcohlic from drinking just
"sometimes"

Do what you want, me personally used to be a true addict,
and wasted a lot of my life with hard drugs, such as
cocaine/crack and others. I dont do that stuff anymore, but
do what you want, its your body and your life.

You shouldnt tell people not to do drugs, unless they are
too young.... to understand. Im talking young here, I
started young too. Like many.

I smoke grass now.. and drink. So what? Im smart..... im
quick and I have energy all day. Im happy like that.

yes the more you take the more you need. glasgow has a bad
drug problem, smack and crack, all because they smoked
spliff when they were younger, DONT DO IT!

acidpants: those are non issues, think of what you could buy
if you didnt smoke, buy gas for your car, have to pay bills,
have to pay rent.... thats not an issue and a cheap way out
of this conversation.

raimons::. think before you say, not everyone turns into an
alcoholic..... thast not true at all. Just because your dad
turned into one, doesnt mean that people that do drugs will
become addicts later in life. Its the same thing as me
saying my parents did drugs when they were younger and now
they dont, so everyone who does drugs at a younger age will
be clean when they get older.. See?

The way I see it, getting high is a natural urge for people.
We shouldn't try to deny it. I advocate learning about drugs
and taking them responsibly to increase the human
experience.

P.S. Anti-Drug people annoy me too. They think all drug
users are losers. I have a family and a good job and I am a
casual drug user. They are not mutually exclusive.

Now that is just a sterotypical viewpoint of drug use... and
it usually comes from people who have no experience with
drugs. I started with pot, and have never taken smack or
crack. I've always done what I wanted to. Every friend of
mine is the same. It's doesn't have to ruin your life, you
know :o)

acidpants: thats cheap..... really. all because they smoke
grass, so you know them all? THIS is exactly where
misconceptions about drugs comes from, people believing
other peoples untrue words and spreading half truths and bad
lies about drugs.

anything you can find into your scabby arms, ant powder,
whatever, no friends, no money, no love, just a desperate
ache in your heart and an urge to take more stronger drugs,

Xanatos: agreed friend. Im leavin that stupidity alone.
Anyways, as I was saying you cannot judge unless youve been
there, you can only help an addict when they want to be
helped and try to be, and you cannot tell people to not do
drugs er - you shouldnt tell them anyway.

I hate drugs, but I don't really care what anyone does...
but there's really not anything it can do for me that I

encourage others to take dangerous substances (POISONS!)

I hate it when people on this board brag about how much acid
they have taken or how much weed they are smoking.
Thats lame and childish teen behaviour.
Grow up!!!
Sure it can be fun to smoke weed n stuff ,i do it myself
sometimes but talking about it 24 7 is soo boring and lame.
Like the amount of drugs would make you a cooler person or
something.

an ex addict?! how is that bragging? acidpants just goes a
little to far, Id like to think of him/her as a drug/body
nazi. I mean "drugs ARE bad" and all that shit..... its not
your right to tell other people to not do drugs and look
down on them becuase of it, THAT is childish.

I hear you, Sido. If I laugh at someone's ''funny'' drug
stories, it's usually AT them, not WITH them. I get tired of
hearing about people's ''trips''... and certain (NOT ALL,
I'm not singling anyone out) people believe it gives them
more ''experience'' in life then the ''goody goodies'' that
don't do it. I've been made fun of by people that use drugs
simply because I don't... like they think it's interesting
or rebellious or something...

sometimes....by the way, smoking is even harmless than

little info:

Someone who smokes marijuana regularly may have many of the
same respiratory problems that tobacco smokers have. These
individuals may have daily cough and phlegm, symptoms of
chronic bronchitis, and more frequent chest colds.
Continuing to smoke marijuana can lead to abnormal
functioning of lung tissue injured or destroyed by marijuana
smoke.

Regardless of the THC content, the amount of tar inhaled by
marijuana smokers and the level of carbon monoxide absorbed
are three to five times greater than among tobacco smokers.
This may be due to marijuana users inhaling more deeply and
holding the smoke in the lungs.
