I think I haven't posted here for 17 years or so. Will Warp
cunts finally repress SAW2 or drukqs in 2021?

to answer your second question, most profile pics were
destroyed int the great fire of ´16?.
for a brief period of time now known to many as "the
restoration" many pieces of art could be re-uploaded, sadly
however many will be lost forever in the sands of time.
currently this place entered by some accounts the third age
of migration (after fartbook and other hiccups people now
gather in irc 3.0, which admittedly has some pretty cool
features). please frolic with the rest of us in this asylum
and join our fine line between constant resurrection,
preservation and grave robbery.

I actually posted last time before this topic 9 years ago.
Since then I moved to different country and became a father.
It's fucking incredible how quickly the time has passed. I
would love to email warp directly regarding the represses as
we deserve them. I do still have my drukqs copy from 2001.
It's worth more than a house in London. How the fuck pays
for hosting of this?? Where do I donate?

But I'm nice! Just very excited and angry that Warp won't
repress both classic albums.

i bought SAWII on CD, off amazon. i'd already pirated a few
tracks and i was sold, but since i had to wait for it to
show up, i read some of the reviews anyways. i remember
there was one that completely nailed it. went something
like: "After I got this album I put it on in the car while
driving around with a friend and suddenly there are all
these honking horns because we're zoning out at a green
light. 'I think we should not listen to this album in the
car,' my friend suggests. 'Yeah' I reply and eject the CD"

i would almost say i want drukqs more on vinyl, because it
means more to me, but then i think about when i actually use
vinyl: almost never. i had to move a few months back and i
threw my turntable in the skip because it was terrible and
no good for the records anyways. i'll get another
eventually, and then: still almost never. it's something for
when you're doing a long kitchen sesh cooking, or in some
sort of particular state for a few hours... and in that
context, i dunno, SAWII might be better. drukqs is more like
something i always want to make my own little tracklisting
from depending on my mood.

in our home, vinyl is the most accessible format. just a few
buttons and we´re ready to have wonderful (or terrifying)
music to fill our living room/bedroom. its faster than
starting up the pc with a ssd and finding the files in
painfully slow itunes search and way more fun, because there
is no pc in the room to distract you from listening on the
couch, dancing or whatever you do playing your record.
(i jump up and down with joy mostly)
