i am impatient, with a good grip. i regularly destroy my
fingernails. i've have a particularly rough stretch as of
late, carefully nursing along, even, a split toenail on the
shower door after it was moist and vulnerable (calm down,
mermaidman). it didn't even hurt, but i said owwWWoowWW loud
because i'm mad, fuck, if i'm not careful i could lose the
whole thing on this one

i didn't. it made it. fingers, doing better as well...
except, hangnail. multiple, kinda, i think, i dunno, but
really this one giving me grief. it's forked off a little,
and since it's its own offshoot, it snags on things tears;
further establishes itself as a separate offshoot. i've
noted some of the other recovering nails seem to have
rejoined streams, but this one, it's not going to be the
simulation of lisa without braces (a dollar a gander) but
it's annoying the crap out of me.

contemplating the ones that are doing better, i hit upon a
novel idea: hey! maybe i can just epoxy the offshoot to the
main nail, then that will hold it like a cast until it grows
back in enough to hold together on its own.

obvious pitfall, need to avoid gluing my nail to my finger,
but... if i manage to not do that, this just might work.

however, i need the input of my valued colleges: will this
work?
