hehe, actually i just recently bought a projector. thought it d come in handy with all the cinemas down. its a great experience to watch all your favourite movies on the big screen. really greatly enhacnes it. i couldnt watch everything on it though it would be too exhausting since it effectivley is more photons on your retina. ny eve we watched little shop of horrors and rocky horror picture show with video phone breaks inbetween and had a lot of fun. |

cool! if i had the space for it i would buy a beamer too. i live under the ceiling and my walls are not pretty high. also every straight wall already has stuff on it. but i have a nice screen for my firetv and console. it also a totally different experience; screen vs projection |

i have been keen on having one for some time, but never thought its was affordable at a decent quality, but i read into the matter and eventually struck quite a bargain. i think media markt made a mistake not excluding the projector i bought from their 20% discount weekend in october. found out they had a projector with a slightly different serial number but the same exact specs as the high end retailers sell for 100+€. with the additional discount that came down to 320€ instead of 540€ marketprice. lucky! still not every source or media is made for the big screen. as you say. each has its perk and its a high cost space or gearwise for a thing that wont fully replace your tv. |

I don't do new years resolutions, but I pick a word to live by from Thanksgiving to Thanksgiving. My word this year is 'detach'. To free myself from the cycle where I get very emotional about a small issue. Passport problems at airport. Not getting what I want. Etc. Just. relax, go with flow. -- For 2021, I did tell myself I would do 100 pushups every day for the entire year. Haven't missed a day so far, but it's early sledding. |
