"choose your color" articles on ebay are the best. e.g. usb stick offers with a range of storage capacity so the cheapest capacity has them always listed on top. i hate this in snes game carts. you search one item which shows a "pick your item offer" where it is already sold out and only cheap crap games remain. nothing unusual but its even more vile with usb sticks where the color also defines different GB sizes. i saw one offer where the price stayed the same 3 bucks if you chose a different color, but only one or two colors out of eight has the high GB size from the title. so if you dont pay close attention you will get the 1 GB instead of the 16 GB. clever! If you pick the 16 gb version of these vendors its surely going to be utter crap too. this kind of ripoff surely deserves a medal. im amazed it brings profit to somebody shipping any single item overseas for 3-4 bucks in total however. i think its the real crime here. |

so i'm leaving a few product reviews. one is generally negative, two are actually quite positive. i want to look them over again... ok, how do i see my reviews? i dig around on amazon, and i cannot find it. i actually wind up web searching it, and i get shit like: wikiHow how to find your amazon reviews in 3 easy steps and it is obvious: this is not something amazon wants you to do, and it's obvious because it's confused so many people that shithole sites like wikihow have calculated they can earn a buck by fighting to the top of the google results with a useless article, because amazon doesn't fucking let you do this? i think? because, fuck me if i can't find even a whiff of any of it. it's like every review i write disappears into a black hole. i have no record of it; no paper trail. because if i did amazon might possibly held accountable for their bullshit |

so i ordered a fan and it was mustard and i ordered a second, on, oh, thursday. saturday amazon is all "your item was mis-sorted you have a new tracking number" and immediately i think: oh, this is going to be bullshit, innit it might be. jury still out. i tried to order a slightly larger version of the same fan, and it was sold out 'till mid-june. i hastily cancelled the order and looked more carefully: oh! i can just order another of the one i already got, that'll do. it's in stock but perhaps it wasn't. it now also lists as mid-june, price went up, etc. and i half figure whatever asshole that sells the fans just "lost" my order because he can get a much better price now i am of the mood to just cancel it, get my money back, forget about it, but now that the order has "shipped" i have no button to click for such a thing. i guess i have no other things i need from amazon until this is resolved. |

picked up everything that is household electronics (as opposed to specialized nerd goods) via internt order to pick up at your local electronics market. no surprises, good wares, good prices. sing that as a jingle now: no surpriiiseees, just good wares & good priiicess. you tell me if i should go into advertising, i cant tell. |

i don't currently have a functioning car. mine broke; not worth what it costs to fix. car prices be shit now, so trying a different way of life for a bit. this means, however, that, no, i can't just bang out to my local walmart or what the heck ever. i'm close enough to the center of town that i can run a few errands and get a few miles in, but there's no "local electronics market" where the heck do they have that anyways i'd have to take an uber to pick it up and then another back and unless i'm meeting a friend up in the area to hang out -- happens sometimes -- it's utterly not worth it to do anything but order it over the internet. |
