Who is your favorite out of these two rising Rephlex stars? I enjoy both, personally. I appreciate how Bogdan can sandwich fast and frantic jungle with vintage synths and vocals in a way that is original and intriguing. I have yet to get myloveilove, though. I also appreciate Ovuca though -- he seems to vary in his style quite a bit, and although his tracks can be a bit short at times, it seems logical to say that his sound always seems to have some sort of purpose buried within. I can't choose --- too hard! But if a gun was put to my head upon asking the question, I'd pick Bogdan. |

i would probably pick bogdan for his amazing "boku mo wakaran" and "samurai math beats". still, i'm loving "wasted sunday" by ovuca to bits. haven't heard any of his earlier stuff like "lactavent" and "onclements" though. worth getting ? |

hmm, wasted sunday might be my all time fav rephlex album actually. but boku mo wakaran, thinking of you and samurai beats are good albums too if i really had to choose it's ovuca, but they're both good |
