off the cuff, i'd say the energy has dissipated but the attitude is still there. he's getting older; he has kids. drugs don't make you a good musician, but a good musician on good drugs can be another thing entirely, and now fatboy slim is merely a good musician. or i could be entirely wrong and clearing samples is simply a nightmare now and he can't just collage like he used to |
