kanye west launches presidential bid. elon musk promptly tweets support
it's a tough call. kanye west is a trump supporter and this reads as a flagrant attempt to split the black vote biden needs to win. on the other hand, kanye is such a megalomaniac that he might really believe his own bullshit -- thinking, if trump can do it, so can he. i suppose, however, the effect will be the same either way. echoes of ross perot, clinton, bush three-way

it is interesting to watch the robot AI brain that powers google news lose its shit attempting to classify articles about kanye west running for president. it appeared in headlines, then disappeared. it was in entertainment, it probably still is, but now it's also US news

Why do you support biden when he clearly wants war with Russia, would you be happy to be conscripted? Wrong answers only :-)

biden is, effectively, a life raft. it won't exactly guarantee we'll survive, but it will guarantee us a bit more time even if we don't

kanye v zuck 2024
i think zuckerborg will try to run eventually, might be able to buy his way into some primaries, but he seems less likeable than bloombert.

rumor of tucker carlson 2024 as well.
honestly i feel like the last real president we had was reagan in the sense that was the last time the presidency was a serious job. after that point, something changed. bush just wanted started shit in the mid east, clinton wanted to be cool, bush jr was there to continue his father's work, obama was the token black guy, and trump is just kind of a troll. so no, a kanye or tucker wouldn't surprise me all that much. maybe the point of the presidency should be that someone removed from politics should be trying their hand at it a lot more often.

He'd quit almost immediately when he realised what was involved and what shit he would get.
I think Tulsi Gabbard would do well.

fuck that's a terrifying though, career politicians are all self serving creeps but usually they have a semblance of competency. And very occasionally you get one who is actually good. This transference over to whoever have biggest wad of cash and celebrity status is even worse. its like a Simon Cowell production utterly horrifying

maybe they ought to think over this whole "president-idea". how about a lineage of troglodytes in a cavern with natural gas to keep em high. results couldnt be much worse and at least it would cut down the worlds leaders drug bills and other expenses.
