Good news for all FSOL's fans...

Take a look to:

Future Sound of London' site

-----------------------------------------------------
03/06/2002 - Amorphous Androgynous' release
-----------------------------------------------------

Will be it a brand new album or old reissue?

If you have free time... check the nice Mello Bippo
section... it's really funny.

actually..it will be new stuff
they talked about it in an interview...
they got back in touch a while ago and started making music
together again
supposedly its going to be more on the psychadelic
side...with acoustic guitars and some singing

hhhmmm....I wouldn't expect this to much like the FSOL of
old; they've said a lot recently about how they feel they
got kinda stuck in a rut with that sort of sound...kinda
regretted they'd turned into some 90s progressive rock
band...

FSOL with Acoustic Guitars & singing ain't gonna have the
same appeal, methinks...

Well, Amorphous is gonna be more minimal sounding then fsol;
I presume, which will be fine.

hey hey!
this album has been due for ages, now due 29th july
i guess its gonna be like the other amorpheus androgynous
stuff, i.e. more upbeat than lifeforms etc

and for rephlex releases by humanoid & 808 state, my guess
is it will (hopefully) be the peel session they did in 1988
(and an album?), and a great track i remember 808 state
doing called 'born in the north' when gerald simpson was at
the helm, as we have already seen a newbuild re-release, and
there was only a couple of other releases before a guy
called gerald went on to do the hot lemonade lp in 1989 and
808 went tragically downhill soon after

the other 808 state release w/ gerald was put on the warp
+2 album, called let yourself go, another blinder

let yourself go was a 3 track single, it's more likely to be
the mini-lp quadrastate. mabye?

It is nice. Though I am only at the first song. Sounds like
somebody invented electronic music in the 60's. Hippie stuff
:)
