coffee seems more harmful to me than beer…

depends how much beer... it's a slower ride than hard liquor
but you can still fuck yrself up. i knew a part-time
wrestler (!) who drank about 30-40 cans of stella a night at
weekends, the poor fat bastard

Getting more and more redpilled about caffeine, after
detoxing and going back on a number of times I can say with
some confidence that the main effects are jittery
restlessness and bad mood. Honestly wondering if coffee is
one of the hidden drivers of the fucked up ness of Western
civilization.

I've compromised on one cup of Japanese sencha a day,
because it tastes wonderful and is supposed to be healthy.
Not likely to get back on coffee or even black tea.

Tony you don't drink coffee, you don't smoke, you don't do
drugs !

i love coffee its a substitute for munchies, I don't think
its a drug, for obvious reasons..

coffee and booze are pretty much the only drugs left as
legal in the uk, the law has been draconian since 2016. it's
pretty much "if it can get you high it's now illegal" rather
than naming drugs one by one. only exception is for poppers,
mostly because parliament is too squeamish about bumsex to
mention it

I’m new to coffee, only started about a year ago. Doing 2
cups a day. One in the morning , one in the afternoon. It
helps.

Haven’t had any nicotine in... a month ... not sure.
Certainly is easier now but still miss it like a dead
friend.

is whippets interesting or is it basically poppers

they're both only really interesting in combination with
other drugs. lsd or mushrooms plus nitrous is awesome. i
used to cane it on poppers, synthetic cannabinoids and cheap
turbocider when i was living at that hostel, fun but
dirty-feeling

I hadn't had coffee for weeks and then the other day I had
two cups of instant and I felt like a jittery, borderline
panic attack for about 6 hours. Ghastly stuff. I'm strictly
PG Tips.

I was out cycling last summer and bought a medium starbucks
light roast. My mouth went dry and I spent the next few
hours vibrating so fast I worried my molecules would slip
down through the earth like a star trek transporter
accident.

ha! same story here:

i drink one cup of coffee almost every day which is great,
but the absolute maximum for me. yesterday i had the stupid
idea of drinking another cup, since its fun to make and i
like the taste.

this ended in me scratching my whole body, having problems
concentrating and having a milder panic attack in the
afternoon.

with beer… i drink 2 bottles on some evenings. when i want
crazy i drink 3. when i drink 6 i regret it the other day. i
also think im allergic to some beers ingredients. took me a
while to find a beer that didnt make me feel bad the day
after

so, one coffee in the morning, two beer in the evening is
the equilibrium for me body

i smoked a few doobies with some lil tobacco some days ago,
when i met in a shack in a garden colony with some irish
guys. it was pretty good and i kinda missed the joint after
vaping weed only for the last years. it's a different high

i don't smoke tobacco, but putting a small bit in a joint is
nice. my joints are 2.5/3 weed 0.5/3 tobacco and look like
long lady cigs, aka nuttenstengel

i'm prescribed codeine for legit chronic pain, that's class
b in the uk now. makes me so sleepy i need coffee to
function on it

hmm, interesting. im not a scientist, but you might achieve
the opposite with this. coffee might interfere with the
metabolisation of codeine in your liver. since, caffeine in
healthy amounts is generally good for the liver, in your
case it might help producing a higher amount of morhpine,
since the liver metabolises codeine and makes morphine out
of it…

oh, i had some friends who took the co2 cans. i never did
that after seeing all of them having spams on the ground
around me.

i had a glue accident once and i called the toxic emergency.
they were very rude, because i called them at 3 in the
morning. but i had worked in a lab with glue and closed
windows and i had a horrible trip. i felt a hand was growing
out of my head. so i read the description on the glue and
panicked, lol

to lose yr shit over, i'm guessing it's all about route of

my relatives in egypt run a glue factory.. i seem to
remember i read an article about kids sniffing glue there,
and consequentially thought it was a way to traffic drugs
legally, but after the winds of arab revolution passed such
kind of issues got covered less on twitter so i kinda lost
touch (with the family as well)

caffeine has good synergy with paracetamol. over here we've
got something called "lamaline", that's 300 mg paracetamol,
10 mg opium, 30 mg caffeine, good stuff.

coffee makes me nauseous so i don't have it. shame because
it tastes good but i'm ethically opposed to uppers anyway,
sinister productivity medicine.

hah! i'm a stoney downers type myself at heart. there was a
proprietary blend of uppers called "ching" here, going for
the cocaine market but it was cheap and i was putting any
old shit into my body at the time... sent me properly
paranoid-crazy, even more than usual. i was staring out of
the peephole in my flat convinced that invisible people were
bringing me more drugs but that it was drugs from another
dimension, lol

that sounds intense belb. did you get those delusions only
because of the drug, or are you genetically predisposed?

i'm very sensitive to drugs, but i don't phantasie out
paranoid delusions. i have a small tendency, though…
thinking a bit too much about my post man than is healthy
for me, these days. i had a little discussion with him and
found my package thrown somewhere else than in my postbox
afterwards. i think he's after me now. i might need to move
out, if i ever want to receive a package again…

i'm majorly a hypochondriac, phantasizing about horrible
illnesses

i found a fucking tick on my back a week ago, which is
something that will bother me for at least another 4-5
weeks… if i don't die before that

i have some anxieties coming from my early teenage years,
mixed with being highly sensitive and being a bubble boy
until i moved to berlin when i was 22. death and dying were
always a big topic. having two experiences with people dying
in front of me actually helped me somehow

im definitely a downer type @_@

on the other side:
the first time i took speed i felt much less panicky and
more focused and calm inside. but that might change if i
would do that every week

it was this that i was taking a lot of, mostly
filler and an unnamed numbing agent but about 40%
3-fluorophenmetrazine and two other, lesser chemicals that
gave it a slightly more euphoric feeling (2-aminoindane and
n-methyl-2-aminoindane). it had a suspiciously later-added
sticker with all this on. fuck knows if the contents
were actually 3-fpm, 2-ai and nm-2-ai

i was also on mdai (like less speedy, more tearful ecstasy)
and 6-apb ("pink panthers", another one a bit like e) when i
thought drugs were being magicked to me. and several
synthetic cannabinoids. and etizolam. and whiskey, lots of
it. to say i was not in my right mind wouldn't do it
justice

i already had a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenic when i
was doing all this (2015-16 i think although i'm a bit
blurry on dates) but i had replaced antipsychotics with, um,
all of the above

1p-lsd saved me though. granted i had detoxed in hospital so
i was physically over withdrawals but it took the (legal
prodrug for) acid for me to actually decide to cut it
all out. haven't craved anything since, bar a couple of
spliffs to "test" myself. i can live without, no probs

i also read that only half of the people who get diagnosed
actually get medicated

yeah i'm doing alright now thanks, the only persistent
symptom is sporadic voice-hearing, none of the, ahem,
"unusual beliefs" (that's how it's medicalized in the system
here). i'm grateful for the meds now, though i still think
psychiatry is a pseudo-scientific guessing game really. was
reading up on the rosemhan experiment so i could needle the
doctors with it in my next ward round, i'm kinda sick of
being warehoused. and while i accept i needed treatment it's
not exactly been a perfect fit
