i don't generally have beer at home, these days. got kind of tired of it after years of craft whatever. however, i do still like beer, and it's what i have whenever i go 'round to the pub. for the first time in, i dunno, a long time, i find myself craving a beer. it dawned on me that i haven't had a beer in... jeez, i'm not even sure. it's also summer, it's getting warm, it's perfect beer weather today. in light of that, the craving was actually very specific: i want magic hat #9. it's kinda apricot flavored, and very good in the summer. do they still make that? probably so, i may run out after work and pick up a case. anyone else having similar moments? |

beer is nice. if i was to get my drink on again i'd start with a beer or two, but i don't kid myself it'd end there. sucks cos a nice cold old speckled hen or badger's would hit the spot right now. does stout count? guinness foreign extra, 7.5% abv bottles, that's my shit bwoi. mmm |

i started buying beer. i don't drink too many, and i figured i had enough, but now it's july 4th and i only have two beers left. and it is perfect beer-drinking weather oh well. |

Well, craft beer is about the only thing I have to live for at the moment, so I've embraced the weight gain. Never liked Magic Hat though. Great name for underwhelming beer, imo. What else you like, Epic? |

havent had a beer crave. have some kriek in store, untouched., opened a few bottles of red to romantic balcony dinners instead. there is a pub here that has unlimited beers to offer. they actually have the most beers in a pub in germany and what i really like about it is that it costs about the same (insane) amount money as in the liquor store, so i dont feel like wasting my money out. they have surprise bags to take away as a gimmick too. and lots of ciders. no pinball though. |
