I'll admit, I went down an Andy rabbit hole after watching this, and then a whole episode of Taxi.

I can manifest a note-perfect rendition of the Taxi theme in my head. The Rhodes piano, the flute, everything. Could involve what spiritualists call "ectoplasm".

i can do that sort of things for lots of songs. what's more interesting to me is when i only have part of it; how it is when it's sort of half between knowing all the song's parts and knowing none of 'em.
i was listening to prodigy's AONO the other day and i'm playing back "Girls" in my hed in the shower and i realize i don't have all the drums, i'm missing some of the drums. after a think i got a couple noises out, but still, have to go back and fill that in
bootnote: you're not actually playing back the song in your hed. you're playing back the experience of listening to it... and, with experience focusing on the drums in "girls" or the rhodes in "theme song to taxi" will eventually allow you to simulate the experience of listening to the song that it's almost as good as the real thing. making up songs in your head is a much more complicated tangent
