i ventured out of my containment pod for another pack of zigs (ugh, ugh, ugh, still trying to quit) only to find people park differently during times of pandemic no sooner had i snapped this photo, climbed into my car, and turned the ignition over, than someone promptly parked worse right behind me, blocking three spaces at once instead of just using one is it "i really need to go out, and to demonstrate this, i will park like i really need the three seconds it will take to park properly?" or is it "i am so full of anxiety i cannot park properly anymore?" not sure what to make of it, but it's one of the odder effects i've noticed on society thus far, and it's also the worst parking i've seen since living in cape cod |

i made a young girl cry once because i had to parallel park her piece of shit hatchback and told her she has no business driving if she doesn't know how to park. sometimes it's one's duty to make sure other people feel sufficiently stupid in hopes they'll bother to correct their stupidity. |

possible explanations ~ 1) i know i am not supposed to go out, and so, to be sure everyone knows that i know this, i will park like my house is on fire. 2) i am so full of anxiety about corona and i have to work from home with my kids screaming and i am only vaguely aware that i parked 3) everything is empty and we are at the end days so why worry about how i park |
