the operative question would be: did you get a feeling when you found that copy of ableton 3, or did it just become relevant in retrospect?
farming synchronicity is an idle hobby of mine. being uncanny is not something simply does. it is cultivated, like gardening
that being said, i didn't have much of a feeling about this topic; just thought it was lol

ha! nah, that box contained old business cards and other stuff i hadnt discarded at that point. was just dwelling in memories, a bit, then chucking it out. it didnt stand out in particular.
also rumours of previous premonitions are being exaggerated around me. that time we went on a weekender and i decided against all others in the car to take a different route it was purely coincidentally the common route was hit by a terrible car accident.

i've actually written oodles on here about that sort of route planning. you can actually practice listening to yourself in that manner -- hey, i'm getting a stabbing urge to take this route. try it and see how it goes. keep track whether you were right or not, and if so, how you were right. when the stabbing urge hits next time, try to use previous experiences to quantify it. over time, you start to get a sense of "how much." like, this is minor, or, this is serious. just a loop of listening, following up, analyzing results, and that distant voice starts to become more granular

you know how scientists say, you made your choice before your conscious grasps it? that your conscious merely looks to rationally explain just why you decided that way?
premonition or gut feeling or whatever would just be subconsciously processing the variables. then actively thinking about it could be pretty much the same, just re-evaluating the options, based on pretty much the same facts/variables.
some folks seem to visualize things they expect to happen more than others, maybe resulting in having actual visions?
anyway the night before yesterday i dreamt my landlord built us a two storey garage, with lots of space for extra stuff and lots for our neighbours aswell. yesterday the city put up temporary no-parking signs in our street.
the gas supplier is tearing up the road and i had to move the car. guess cant be right all the time, right?

Whilst considering going for Ableton Suite's free 90 day trial, I couldn't help but notice that LAZY_CAMERA_FOCUS makes arm hair the subject of this Ableton promotional picture. Like, "Give us all your $$$ for our software and one day, you too could have luxuriant golden forearm locks like this gentleman."

i've written scads about this on here, but it is messy. so, instead, you might enjoy notions, and weaselpedia.
some folks seem to visualize things they expect to happen more than others, maybe resulting in having actual visions?
that really depends on what you mean. i use visualization constantly, as a tool to run myself, my life, get work done. like, take driving: before leaving, i visualize the route i'm going to take as a series of flash cards representing points where i turn, or otherwise do something other than just cruise along. once i do that, i am free to zone out, and my body will make the correct turns. if i don't do this, i'll miss turns because i'm singing to the black keys or something
or to run my day. visualize the agenda, you know, shower, work, but mostly doing that to set up the things i'd miss, like "walk my car excise tax down to the mailbox." i missed that a couple days in a row until i sort of planned out my day with image flashcards and gave it a specific designated slot
sometimes, images will come to me, but it's just stuff like "a car is about to shoot out of the side street" and i get a visualization of it happening, and more often than not, it does. while i suppose this is a vision, sort of, it's probably not what you had in mind. it's just my subconscious trawling out something that's relevant

well it was right about construction triggering a change-up in parking, wasn't it?

except, you're forming neural connections into whatever made you think whatever you thought, and thus, next time around, the chemical/physical process will have been altered

yeah its goes of onto a bit of a philosophical slant i guess, if you consider the universe a predetermined cascading effect sort of like a more complicated domino rally, or something that can be truly altered from a set path, i guess that would have to mean something akin to the many worlds theory was real, to make each choice a legitimate choice. well thats my very simplistic feeling

entropy always increases, but you can decrease entropy inside a pocket, at the expense of increasing entropy outside of it. earth is such a pocket, and in this pocket, recursive pockets of a similar nature have formed: stable seasons, language, circular message board conversations, etc.

is it ever lunchtime if you snack your way to dinner? how close does someone have to be, and eat lunch, to turn your local microcosm into lunchtime?

using visualization as a tool is essential. it is kind of the way to do for driving around town. it is furthermore utterly essential in the maze of one way streets, dead ends, construction detours and traffic-reduced inner city that is called mülheim an der ruhr.
before corona i was delivering meals on wheels/catering to kindergardens, which meant having to change routes every other week, cause we mainly deliver the ones where the cook got ill.
if id turn on autopilot id take a turn that was memorized during the week before etc.
also fully agree on the responses following my post without the need of further repitition. we sure seem to watch a lot of science shows, gather similar information :)
notions is nicely put.
also my mind feels a bit furry right now.
