i never had particularly strong feelings one way or the other, except from imaging the lulz at official functions, which leads to an obvious reason he was doomed from the outset: how do you translate first lady duties to a first husband? like, in a technical, literal sense, it's not hard to say "ok, yes, most of this would be not much different" but having the gender switch interjected would grind many a brain to a halt. there would be numerous little details where they'd have had to be like, "ohhh, umm, i guess we have to change this a bit" |
