I've been looking for an Alec Empire cd that is supposed to have him remixing Elvis songs.
Not really remixing but destroying.
Anyway, I cannot find it even though I have a couple of the songs downloaded (the DL'ed songs are bad quality).

www.digitalhardcore.com or www.liquidaudio.com
do a search for Alec Empire.
I recommend that you buy The Geist of Alec Empire first though.

I've got the Atari Teenage Riot stuff and his album Destroyer.
I also picked up an ep he did with El-p called Shards of Pol Pottery.
And, I downloaded some stuff he did with Techno Animal... some sort of Bjork remixes.
I'll look for the Geist. Thanks

I've haven't heard much of Atari Teenage Riot but what I have heard I've enjoyed. What's generally considered to be their best album?

Probably "Burn Berlin Burn!". It's songs are more developed. "60 Second Wipeout" has a lot of noise and experiments. Either album is very abbrasive. It's like an Alec Empire album with fuzzed out punk guitar.

But, the song Revolution Action from "60 Second Wipeout" is an amazing song. And the video is one of my all time favorite. Easily comparable to any Aphex video.

It's also a shame that Grand Royale records shut down... they distributed the Digital Hardcore label here in the states.

i think there is a digital hardcore distribution place in New York, though.
i've seen a few of their albums in the used record store around here.
