Wait, are you sure you didn't upgrade to Catalina? iPhoto should still work in Mojave. If you launch Photos does it say anything about upgrading your iPhoto library? |

Nope it's Mohave! the iPhoto icon has this on it and when i opened Photos it showed the pictures directory but not asking to import any. at first the app store showed me two updates, one for imovie and one for iphoto, and i thought i'd just sort that out, but after updating imovie the iphoto update is vanished from the app store |

i double clicked on the icon and it asked me for the most recent version, clicked on the 'find on app store' button and the app store says that its not available in my country or geographic area |

might want to reset smc and pram too, much fuckery can be solved with these steps reset macbook smc After your Mac shuts down, press Shift-Control-Option on the left side of the built-in keyboard, then press the power button at the same time. Hold these keys and the power button for 10 seconds. reset macbook pram Shut down your Mac, then turn it on and immediately press and hold these four keys together: Option, Command, P, and R. nothing helped, i dont have an iphoto library to import (its an app i never use tbh) and the two tricks didnt do the trick either. i love this os im not bothered by the lack of iphoto would try updating it later, maybe its a fault like catalina, they should be checking the apple id not the comp btw |

the iphoto thing seems a common problem if you haven't purchased it at least once, until to version 9 it seems, they dropped support if you haven't. zapped the whole 1,5 gb package with appzapper at once |
