i bought a copy of FF7 new, around when it came out, and
never got into it, despite being hugely into FF1 on NES.

i read some reviews of this, i dunno why, just curious --
and, it does make a certain kind of sense. there seems to be
a lot of "you couldn't go into this building in the
original, and now they've added it to the map so you can."

this makes sense to me. if you're deeply fond/nostalgic of
the original, perhaps you imagined, fifteen years ago, what
was inside that building you could not enter, and now
they've gone and mapped it and you can. nothing for ya if
you weren't into the original, but if you were, it's
probably lovely
