Because of the Corona virus do you think the world gold
price might go up? It's probably a good time to buy Gold.

bitcoin was alright as a short term investment based on
speculation, i made about £1000 out of it. glad i pulled
out of that when i did because that's fucked now. gold on
the other hand is a much better investment, especially in
times of pandemic and financial collapse

its a concern but as usual the media blow it out of
proportion cos it makes their jobs easier. Saw an American
woman on facebook saying "im so worried about the virus" and
I was thinking but you live in a country where anyone can
blow you away at the drop of a hat cos they had a shitty day

wish it was easier to sh0rt st0cks. during a deflationary
panic/recession all asset prices are depressed so gold could
be negative for a while, last time it fell until about
halfway through the recession and then recovered by the end
https://www.kitco.com/LFgif/au95-pres.gif it was also
negative during the tech bubble popping in 2000 until the
start of the recession in 2001 which was a historic low. if
btc spikes again im guessing it wont be until 2021/2022.

the news said gold is going down because people are selling
it off

“A lot of investors and traders are having to meet
margin calls for other products, so they are selling what
they can. That’s why it is hitting gold and the gold
mining stocks,”

so perhaps it's a good time to buy, and then sell, within
the space of tomorrow and then a week or three

i've thought about speculating on bitcoin, but not gold,
really. i have considered buying gold just so i have some
sort of tradeable asset if everything collapses

Ive just been reading a bit more about the virus, actually
does look very serious indeed, we could end up with a
Spanish flu like scenario, anyone got a spare respirator?

is there any way i can get exposed to "caronavirus" in a
planned way; take two weeks off from work? i could probably
do an album with that much time off and come back completely
healthy and immune. perhaps i should propose it to my
manager

standard dog procedure is to bark and howl at anyone with a
motorcycle helmet. i can imagine respirators are not to be
trusted, either.

suspicious to say the least

I asked him if its worth getting one:

"A full face respirator is kind of the "nuke it from orbit"
approach. A half face surgical mask doesn't protect you from
others as much as it protects others from you. A half face
PFF3 rated paper mask will filter viruses but I wore one
everyday this week and it began to fail. They're about £8
each. I think a rubber sealed half face mask would be more
durable and cost effective in the long run. These do not
protect the eyes as there is evidence to suggest that the
virus can breach the body through the mucus membrane of the
eyes. So you could combine the half face rubber mask with
some goggles or just go the whole hog and get a full face
respirator. I say go for it mate. You don't need huge
filters like I have, I've seen nice respirators that are
lightweight and have good visibility. I'll post some
tomorrow.2
