It's a beautiful, beautiful film. In the old days you'd get
more shit like this on telly.... But yes, it's
astonishing.

i know. i'm sure BOC would have similar comments about...
NFBOC

fun fact, when i was like ten they gathered everyone after
school to learn about bicycle safety and i think you
know the video they played for everyone without a
touch of irony

there were some gems in driver's ed, too, like "the final
factor." there was also some one about DUI dangers and it
was a cartoon of what happened to a clown as his BAC went
from .00 to .5

was actually one of the better videos like this i ever saw,
treating driving as a system of multiple people, chain
reactions, ripple effect. i took it to heart. but watching
this in, like, early 00s was still lol

the lower bearing

as modeled by richard stallman

i used to have one of these myself. it might still be
lurking in a bin, somewhere. there were two sorts, i recall
-- the giant eagle disk drive units with a whopping 600mb or
so, and things with one platter like this that were
essentially the zip drives of the 1980s, holding 40mb or
something
