Hell is a human concept and isn’t mentioned in the bible for example (which you could argue is also a human concept of course). The pope recently confirmed that there was no hell according to scripture. Anyway, I look at it differently. I can imagine the possibility of there being a design, which leaves many doors open for interpretation. That all “this” happened by chance through chaos is also a possibility but not one I’m fond of. Contrary to you I find it reassuring to wonder about the possibility of something more after death. |

In the Star Wars media empire there's no discussion of class relation to the means of production so I'm solely interested in it with respect to Gay Muppet Theory, for example Yoda is a "confirmed bachelor" (yeah right!) voiced by Frank Oz, who also voiced Miss Piggy who is obviously trans (their voice drops an octave when they are microaggressed). Incidentally Yoda functions as a bridge between the Star Wars and Gay Muppet universes, as we see in much slash fiction such as Gay Muppets Take Coruscant which IMO ought to be canon. |

I often have great chats with a couple who are Jehovah’s Witnesses, and I really enjoy our talks. They don’t judge me one bit and enjoy open conversation. They’ve never tried to convert me, as interestingly it’s not something they do. They just believe they have to pass on the word. Even when I have a bit of a go at some of their weirder beliefs and the shunning that sometimes takes part, they are open to talk about it without getting all defensive about it. |

As someone with anxiety and depression I have found various things he's said useful. But I've only ever watched clips on YouTube, I've not followed his career or bought any of his books. I appreciate that, thank you. After about the 267th paragraph it was clear the article was essentially just saying how shit Peterson is. I haven't read his philosophical musings or possibly gnomic, cod-biblical wisdom. The only bits I've listened to him talk about, about mental health, have in general been actionable steps that I thought sounded reasonable. I have, on the back of this, ordered his 12 steps Book so I'm probably going to become one of his fawning dimwits, unless it's full of cod mystic esoteric wank in which case I'll return to this thread and contribute my boot to the collective kicking. |

Fair enough, he is a psychologist and a therapist and one would expect him to have some actionable advice for people's personal lives.
