i used to have monitor setup ~ adam a7's, plus sub8. fireface 800 on top of that. had to sell it all off but cannot afford it any time soon. let alone whatever they have for subwaffer now the fundamental change in my setup within the last year or so was going to the MIT swapfest and i wrote a about it (t)here meanwhile, the "monitors" i am currently using are actually the first thing i ever bought off ebay, twenty years ago. i was legally too young to be using ebay and lied about my age and bought them anyways i have a sort of weird, evolved setup where they're on level one and level two of a corner lamp with two-tier shelf, at 45 degree angles, but both boxed in by the corner of a walmart desk really have no excuse except that's what i just had hanging about, and after a few weeks of "no, that's not quite right" i have some sort of strange, unholy improvised speakerbox voodoo but it's shit compared to a7+sub8+RME |
