so it's sunday, and i'm here and there buying provisions
for the week ahead. i go to a second grocery store for,
like, literally four or five things. it's close to
dinnertime on sunday, and it won't be too busy

...except for some lady with incredibly obnoxious kids

they are screaming. there is crying. it fills the otherwise
quiet store. multiple times, i have to dodge out of the way
of a yelling, running ~3yo. four four items. i could just
duck to the register, now -- but, no, the nexus of the
screaming is over by the crisps, and i do kind of want some
crisps. i also want a look at mom

she is put-together, pampered. the kids are white. she
clearly has money. the kids are all wearing new shit and
constantly demanding junk food. this is not a single mom who
has no choice. she just sucks at parenting. she also sucks
at supermarket. she is blocking the barbecue crisps.
finally, she gets it and moves. i grab the crisps, but she's
now moved to block my exit from the crisps section

"excuse me," i say casually,

then proceed to incredibly oafishly push by her, bumping
into her shoulder, upsetting items in her cart, and nearly
upending some cardboard display of junk food.

feel rather pleased with myself.

So you physically assaulted a woman just trying to get
through the day.

because the next expression of the rage you're carrying
around might be more regrettable

Imagine being an all-knowing all-experiencing God and not
only experiencing your annoyance at the crying but also the
pain of the child which causes it to cry and the pain of the
woman being pushed. A cacaphony of pain among pain among
pain. A true hell on earth.

more like she wasn't paying attention and needed a nudge and
i couldn't resist a bit of on the spot phyiscal improv
comedy of bumping into her a little and almost knocking a
display over
