the cops just charged people for guns and ignored the weed meanwhile, from where i sit, there were so many better options than just downing all the percoset: dump it into a cup of coffee. shove it in the seat. given a whole minute of warning, run and flush it -- or, heck, just sit tight and let it happen, man had money, lawyers, all that, he probably would have skated by with a warning the punchline: good thing he wasn't in the cargo bay, or the cops would have caught him trying to eat 70lbs of weed |

yeah i guess he's kind of a dummy but it's still a shame, only 21 etc re: overdosinc on weed, it reminds me of that old statistic that gets quoted by stoners across the globe; you'd have to smoke pounds of it to reach the ld50 for thc. something like 600 spliffs in one sitting was what i heard it as. funnily enough all the abuse of much stronger cb1 full-agonist chems like the chiminacas and fubinacas proves that you can overdose pretty badly on pseudo-weed. i've had seizures and days of memory loss myself fucking around with pure powders, albeit mixed with other shit too |

if he thought that he could just be extremely wasted and front it out to the cops, it's a combination of poor drug education and dumb machismo, i think. but fact is, if percs weren't illegal without a prescription (i dunno what schedule they are), he wouldn't have swallowed them all. he probably knew he had a tolerance and thought he could take it. fraid not juice. mind you, a seizure from the atypical opioid would be preferable to the liver failure from all the acetaminophen (paracetamol in the uk) in there, horrible way to go |

i couldn't even stomach a couple of grams. i know people make those "firecrackers" with cooked peanut butter n ganj, they're supposed to be ok but i made a buttery weed soup once that was fucking foul, couldn't finish it |
