havent seen this film since i was young, like 19 years old or something but i watched a bit of it today wonder what belb would think of it? it has time travel and a weird story about a plane crashing into a house but also the main character is on meds and hears and sees hallucinations. it's a more mature film that i originally remember it to be. years ago i thought it was weird with the giant bunny rabbit and stuff. now i think it shows great insight into people that suffer with hallucinations. the director was quite young when he made it, which shows that he was really ahead of the curve. apparently hollywood hasnt been that kind to him in offering him money to make more movies, which is a bloody shame. and there was a shitty sequel that wasnt made by the original director. |

good film, funny you should mention it as i was listening to the score for the first time in years yesterday, i forgot how much i liked it. been a long time since i've watched the film though, reminds me of a girl i was living with for awhile. some of the big time-tentacle things donnie follows around are similà r to things i've seen in psychosis mode i guess, i remember there being a lot of theories about the physics of it all flying around online at the time |
