Did u see the Tesla cybertruck presentation? Probably the most dystopian thing I've ever seen. "Your car can be shot, your car is super armoured, your car is filled with future TECHNOLOGY so you can avoid looking out the windows, your car can speed away from violent altercations, your car looks like a blade runner background prop"

The one really great thing Musk did is the rocket booster that lands itself. Not sure how economically viable it is but it sure is cool. If you have enough money to throw at a problem, sometimes you can solve the problem.

I tend to agree with RD. They seem really full of themselves on stage, like a bunch of kids playing cyberpunk.
I used to think Musk was ok. People used to laud him as one of the most important thinkers of our time. Overtime however, partly I suppose influenced by all the bad press he has received, I like him less and less.
Astronomers are saying that the satellites he has launched into space are blocking their view of the stars. And he's planning to launch loads more in future.
My opinion is tentative and perhaps he puts his intellect to more useful things in future, rather than toys for boys.

but in any case, even the unintelligible CYBRTRK graffiti logo screams for attention from the well-heeled music industry sort that drive gigantic trucks for show instead of utility. i doubt they'll sell any of these to contractors, but as a luxury car, sure, they'll sell a few. i don't think this was meant to sell loads, anyways
stainless steel? thing is just elon musk's new favorite thing, at the moment. ever since he switched his rocket to stainless steel he's been raving about it. go figure, of course the new car is the same
what if they actually planned to break the window

On 23 November 2019, Elon Musk tweeted that Tesla had received 146,000 pre-orders in the first 1 1/2 days after the unveiling—each requiring a US$100 refundable deposit—with 42% choosing the dual-motor configuration, 41% choosing the tri-motor configuration, and 17% choosing the single-motor configuration.[52]
who's laughing now

this is pretty much how tesla has been. they'll release some high-end ultra thing, sell a fair few, and then, after all the mass production has been tuned and refined, crank out a cheaper version. like models S, model 3. The model X didn't go as well, so build the model Y off the model 3. or something. however, up until now, being a stainless-steel polygon tank was not a factor

oh god how have i never noticed this before
The Model 3 (originally stylized as "☰") is Tesla's third-generation car.[35] The car was originally intended to be called the Model E, but after a lawsuit from Ford that holds the trademark on "Model E",[212] Musk announced on July 16, 2014 that the car would be called "Model 3
so that gets us
Tesla S Tesla 3 Tesla X Tesla Y
...but only Model 3 because Model E was trademark already ford
