my first thought was "this isn't news". some staged footage
of a man throwing away a sign? slow news day or
brain-damaged news outlet?

second thought: this isn't a problem under our
oh-so-socialist medical system. parents don't have to beg
for handouts because the social compact ensures the uk looks
after sick children

i sympathise with the parents cos they must want to spend as
much time as possible with their sexcrement (term copyright:
richard herring) but the kid is probably going to die by age
2, and is probably going to suffering in the meantime. sign
that DNR guys

i can imagine the mindset of whoever put up the signs: shut
up about your stupid baby. it's doomed anyways. i have my
own problems and rent to pay, and you should have been
prepared for this before popping out a kid. i have this
feeling a lot, actually, because you can't walk two blocks
in america without seeing a photo of some baby next to a
donation jar. like: it's a baby! i'm supposed to coo and get
sympathetic! and pull out my wallet! ugh

still, though, to actually go through the effort of making
signs, putting them up... that guy (because it almost
certainly was a guy) needs a hobby. pointless and cruel. not
an opinion that should have been shared. should have just
posted on some obscure internet forum instead
