I was just dwelling on that topic with regards UK politics. It's as if we're being run by incompetent, over-promoted middle-managers and there doesn't seem to be any alternatives. It makes me laugh when people bring out the hoary chestnut "chilling echoes of '30s Germany"... if you can say one positive about the Nazis it was that they were organised. Not this shower. Anyway, yes, good sign. |

it just hit me: they required a minimum of 35 because the president must be a functional adult. if mental health had been a thing back then, i wager we would have had additional clauses in the constitution. |

That's not necessarily the case. The original intent of The Founders is still up for debate; they may have meant 35 years in dog years, in which case Greta is supremely qualified. We'll have wait for The Courts to decide. |
