I read that Houellebecq book on Lovecraft when I was 16
after reading all of Lovecraft's stories. I've forgotten 95%
of the content but I remember that I liked it and how
depressing/hopeless it felt. I still have the German
physical copy at my parents' house and might re-read within
the next 50 years or so
