Yesterday I bought my original copy of Windowlicker. Now I ask you... how can I view the video inside? Does it work again? I'm not sure my copy has video's link, inside... |

I think it's only the US version that requires you to be conneted to the Net in order to play that video....my UK version seems fine without using that Crack from theaphextwin.com... Can anyone else confirm this?... |

Okay... on my windowlicker cd there's only music. :( I have nothing inside apart the tracks... why? I don't understand why everytime they make different versions only for U.S. market, it isn't a nice thing. |

but u can usually find the american versions in your country after a while..or just buy em of ebay.....and you can watch the video here (this site) if your desperate to see it :) |

I'm not desperate to watch it... I'm only disappointed because everytime in Europe we've different version, more poor. Here some example: Windowlicker (Video version only for US) On+On remixes (Only US edition) Ventolin+Ventolin remixes (Only US edition) Richard D. James+Girl Boy Song (Only US edition) SAW II (extra track only for US edition) ...etc... etc... etc... |

you have 2 versions of windowlicker. 1 with 3 tracks and no video and 1 with 1 short version of windowlicker and the video. |

u dont wanna miss those other 2 tracks though. They're excellent. I was hoping to find the video on my copy too but it wasnt there either. Just yesterday i saw a version called 'windowlicker+QT movie' on an online store website. |

Best way to ensure you get eveything on the EPs is to go for the UK release & not the European one....order em via WARPMART and you can't go far wrong... The US versions are only the UK versions put onto 1 CD...might be a bit cheaper I guess but you have to a)wait for the release b) don't get any extra artwork etc... EP's in the UK are generally only 1.99 if you buy em on the first week of release so you can get both EPs for £4 (the normal price for 2 EPs)... |

I thought it was the US ver that was missing a track... my UK one seems to have em all too.... The Japanese version of Windowlicker has an extra track on it BTW - WindowLicker (End Roll Mix) - the one that plays at the end of the video/titles...pretty short tho(not much more than a minute) but kinda cool... |

Here's wots up. In the UK there were 2 releases. CD1 had the demo version and the Quicktime movie. CD2 had Windowlicker, (EQUATION) and Nannou. Hope that clears it a little. |

Hm, US version of SAW2 has 23 tracks, UK has 24. I don't remember On coming out as on/on remixes, just a bastardized On that has a selection of each. |

Yeah hankie isn't on the US version of SAWII. I hate the fact that the windowlicker hyperCD requires you to connect to that website to "unlock the video" everytime you want to watch it...it's incredibly stupid on a dial-up connection! Good thing I have the VHS version. I really wish someone would release it on dvd. |

There are some real nice MPG versions of that video (and the rest of AFXs ones) on SOULSEEK... They get pretty big (like ~100Megs) but quality is pretty good... |
