list your favorites
here are some of mine in no particular order
kill switch soft light pusher clyde bruckman's final repose fire squeeze darkness falls monday roland theef je souhaite D.P.O. (feat jack black and giovanni ribisi!) wetwired chinga kaddish syzygy bad blood surekill arcadia small potatoes first person shooter born again
it's even money amongst many of these, by syzygy is probably the most fun of any of 'em, with palpable drama to boot.
thread motivation: i've been increasingly sitting here after work, and i've watched all the best ones over the last couple days, but i still feel i'm missing a few

The episode that sticks in mind is the one from the first season, with the dude who stretch himself through tight spaces. Scared the crap out of me as a kid....
which indeed you have mentioned.... it is called "Squeeze"

i think the scariest one, and probably my favourite, is "unruhe". with the inexplicable photographs and the torturer escaping on stilts. was tense as fuck. there's a lot of good ones tho

So many great episodes but the ones that stand out for me are, yes indeed Clyde Bruckman, and also Jose Chung's From Outer Space. Almost on the same level is Hollywood AD, written and directed by Duchovny. Oh yeah and The Post Modern Prometheus.
And of course all the mythology arc episodes, it goes without saying. Black oil, clones, bees, saucers, hybrids.

i would actually google "best x-files episodes" "best x-files monster of the week" etc. and most of the lists were pretty flaccid, offtm; squarely redundant cruft. now, in this thread, i've brain-dumped everything i had at the end of a run. the rest are getting filled in by everyone else.
so, instead of stupid SEO-sopping crap clickbait top ten articles that don't actually tell you the fucking any thing you wanted at all, i have this thread, now, to find the right x-files episode. thank you so much, xltronic crowd computer

Are there any good MOTW episodes from s7 onwards? Dropped out of watching the show then both when it was on originally and on my rewatch recently.
