my only power 'n' go source of MIDI clock is, currently, a
circuit-bent casiotone. it does not have BPM, just quantized
steps. i'm trying to set up drum loops on a laptop and sync
it up by ear, but the tempo is giving me grief. i recalled
that, in many casio manuals, they would have a table of the
steps -- 123, 128, 135, etc.

so i google for a manual.

what utter shit. all these fucking spam sites --
manuals.litd, manuals.group, www.casio.user-manuals.com,
manualscenter.com -- on and on. i suspect they're all run by
two or three people, as a good many of these shit-turd sites
demanded $4.99 while showing the first five pages on the
manual. one tried to get me to "allow notifications" to
prove i was not a robot. another tried to forcibly redirect
me to paypal.

these shitheads do not own casio's manuals. service manuals
especially, which have a good more art put into them than
anyone ever thinks about. casio does not have manuals on
their site for all the old 80s/90s casiotones...

so, i had an idea: if we all got together and pooled casio
manuals, we could bundle them together in a large, free
torrent and put these bastards out of business.

(then another for yamaha portasound)

((and does anyone freaking know what the bpm-tiers for a
CT-460 are?))

it doesn't have very many casios, just the more populars
like cz-1. bookmarked anyways, though; thanks.

i think i could actually get a roland rompler keyboard i
have to do midi clock via the arp but it doesn't have hold.
i guess i could just tape/weigh a key down. or get a more
proper drum machine
