The drum sounds are like insta aphex. Genius little box.
Bass drums, snares,claps, hihata,saw bass, fm, and the
resonator can be used as delay fx.

I used to have the analogue beats with the really weak
snare, kick was good though. This version looks and sounds a
lot better. The volca boxes are so great overall, korg have
mailed to low-mid range market of products.

Beats sucks totally compared with the drum. The drum pwns
all. There’s nothing else like it. You’d need loads of
modular to recreate these drum sounds. Best thing is the
sequencer can do up to 16 bar loops. The beats can only do 1
bar loops. I’m looking forward to getting a volca nubass
in august.

Volcas respond well to midi cc parameters. Would be fun to
use with supercollider or max
