i hear so much in this: -the bell opening up daft punk's "aerodynamic" -the trumpet solo i've heard sampled a half-dozen times -breakbeat i've heard sampled a dozen times -the theme song to futurama -fatboy slim's formula blows my mind this was done in 1967. fatboy slim remixed this track and it was clear there was not really much left to do; sounds pretty similar to the original, just with 303 and some more breaks |

i also feel like Air is very much influenced by this chap. "alpha beta gaga" is almost a direct response to psyche rock, and the general feel of their instrumentation -- particularly organ, the use arppeggiated bits of synth |
