Fucked up

Nice studio pic

I think ovuca used an xp 80 on onclements

Check out the roland d10 if you're after another cheap synth
that's good. Or kawai k1. I guess you have your own
methodology in mind when youre using your studio.

Have you tried supercollider? I wondered if youd be good at
that because of your programming skills. The tutorials make
it easy. Have you ever bothered with fm synthesis?

i used to use reaktor a bit to make sample scrubbers to
augment my hardware setup. i tried max/msp but found it too
opaque. i've certainly heard of supercollider, but i haven't
tried it, yet.

currently, i don't really have it set up so i can use music
software and music hardware together. my normal PC is in the
bedroom, the hardware is in the living room.

i'll get to it at some point, but it doesn't really fit in
anywhere at the moment

the yamaha dx200 is a beast

the word "caliphate" was literally stuck in my head for a
few days. like, couple times a day, it would tear out of the
bake of my mind and wave its word-arms to get my attention.
i actually didn't even know what the word meant; i had to
look it up. then i needed a track title.

chinaqunre, well, harder to explain. something popped into
my head, then i decided to alter it a bit, then i had to
figure out how to spell it and made more alterations

my band name, nevenen, i picked back in high school. partly,
i was a fan of NiN, neveNIN, u noe. but "nevenen" is, in
fact, a middle-english verb, meaning "(1) to say, tell,
express, esp. the truth (2) to give a name to"

i feel the act of giving something a name is much more
significant than most people would feel it to be.

"caliphate" was not for any sort of political or moral
reason, it was just a word that had been haunting me for a
bit -- and, like i said, i actually didn't know what it
meant at first; had to look it up.
