Cool, I just finished it this very lunch time. I give it All The Recommends. My copy of the book is one these new-ish "SF Masterworks" editions that have unsightly yellow spines and, in general, ghastly sleeves and it puts you off keeping them. However my Tarkovsky DVD boxset has the cool pic as featured in the ol' avatar there. I did also pick up one of their other books "Monday Begins on Saturday" which I'll start tomorrow (Thursday). Also, film fans, do try another film based on another of their books, "Hard to be a God" (same title) - long, gruelling BUT rewarding. |
