Hard to beat the skies over Cusco at twilight. None of the
pics I took captured it. This gives a hint of it.

a girl i was lusting after when i was 15. it was at our high
school leavers' do and everyone had got their best togs on,
this girl was in a little white dress and had her long, dark
hair down. she looked so gorgeous i had to avert my eyes, it
was like looking directly at the sun

once, someone asked a very complicated question. a sentence
came out of my mouth; almost a mechanical artifact. more or
less, as my brain moved through a paragraph of thought, a
few words came out of my mouth. a deep sense of aphasia. a
sentence, "i know the thing you're talking about, but this
is something else" explodes into a tree of all the
subimplications of the question asked. i know the thing
you're talking about: we had a conversation about this six
months ago. you're right to bring it up now, but this is an
entirely unrelated thing i'm having right now

here, i wrote about it on xlt right after as i was trying to
process what the fuk had just happened

what i didn't mention in that post is that i was actually
driving a car and talking on the phone at the same time as
that all went down. one of the most beautiful brainfarts of
my life. still analyzing the fallout

i have a diagram on paper somewhere. as it happened, not
only did i experience a whole paragraph of inner monologue
as it was run through a derivative and came out of my mouth
as a mechanical sentence, but i got a synaesthetic visual of
the process. sort of like i was viewing a 2D membrane with
bubbles bleeding through in a manner that implied a bit of
3D perspective. if i had to do it up, i would do it in
iridescent ascii art of / \ | etc

also this after going on a hike as part of a daily
routine for weeks, getting into breathing routines as part
of the daily process, etc.

Lots of beautiful things on this planet. I saw Ana Friel
recently on some chat show and thought she was rather
pretty.
