i remember i was pretty ok the night my mother died, she had just gone away with a relaxed face and an appearance of smile, i remember receiving the relatives the next day and told them this particular before they saw the body, shit is that she started rot in the meantime (cant remember the lapse of time, could be hours or the time they came in the flat from downstairs) and changed expession, made an aunt angry at me for that |

Thx. She doesn’t like hugs but she does care for other cats when they are ill or depressed. She cleans our other cat. She always greets guests with a meow and runs away and hides when my nephew comes to visit. Gonna miss her when she’s gone. It’s got her in the throat so she must have been smoking heavily ;/ yeah fuck cancer. |

She finally passed today. We had her put down because she wasn’t eating or drinking. We only have 1 cat now in our house and she’s 20 years old. |

this sounds like the perfect time for a kitten. given your 20yo cat some fiery company; may give her the energy to hang on for longer than you would otherwise. then it would probably help you too |

there's a lot of depth to what goes on when you pick a pet out of the litter. i had dogs, but i imagine it applies to cats, too. could you let your old cat pick out a new cat? put her down and pick a kitten? do cats do that? i wouldn't know. like i said, i always had dogs |
